Confirmed invitation is the document, which confirms that the host individual accepts all responsibilities for the foreigner’s arrival and lodging. In addition, the inviting person gives guarantees that, if necessary, all expenses for the return of the foreigner to home country or to another country where the person is allowed to enter are totally covered. In order to issue the invitation, an individual should apply to the Migration Service of the Republic of Lithuania; legal entity should apply at the place of its registration. The invitation is issued within 3 – 5 working days.
